established until a retainer agreement is executed.
An income deduction order is a specific order sent to the employer of a person obligated to pay support. It orders the employer to withhold the support payment from the persons' paycheck and to send the money directly to the State of Florida's depository. The checks are then sent to the recipient from the State of Florida. Income deduction Orders are available for child support, alimony, and sometimes, attorneys' fees. An income deduction order is sometimes preferable because then the payor does not have to affirmatively think about sending a check and it also provides a clear payment history.
